The Violin

The violin is an instrument with four strings; among the other instruments such as cello and viola, it is the smallest one. The origin of the term “violin” comes from a Latin word – ‘vitula’ – which means ‘stringed instrument’. As you know, the particularly pleasant sound of a violin depends on some vital facts; so in these circumstances, I can state that every single piece of such instrument has different acoustics. The thickness of the wood plays a great role in the sound of a violin and what’s more important – the specific methods used when making it.

In addition, whenever a violin is ready, the sound needs to be checked. This happens in such rooms which have double-walls, or in extremely isolated places, because every single string can be clearly heard. In what the violin’s size is consisting of, there are different measurements, depending on the person who is playing it.
