The great experience of violin making can be acquired through hard work, and of course by learning the specific techniques. Every single violin maker has his own methods of building up an instrument, but the authentic techniques give the exceptional significance to a masterpiece. The very first violin was made is Cremona, Italy, in the 16th century by Andrea Amati. His techniques were carried on by his two sons, known as the Amati Brothers.
The tradition of Amati violin was transmitted through his grandson, Nicola, who had passed his great methods to many of his pupils, among which Antonio Stradivari. In a little while, Stradivari has become one of the most distinguished violin makers and his masterworks are the most valuable and laudable for their sophisticated style.
